This spring, the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball announced the launch of the inaugural Leaders for Life campaign. Leaders for Life recruited five amazing young professionals in Austin, nominated by members of our Board of Directors and Heart Ball Executive Leadership Team. These nominees are leading the way for the next generation of AHA volunteer leaders committed to making a lasting impact in our community.
Throughout this six-week campaign, our nominees raised funds and engaged their network in opportunities to have a direct impact on the health of Austin. We are thrilled to share that the campaign concluded last week, and our nominees raised almost $30,000 in support of the mission and work of the AHA. These incredible nominees were instrumental in helping the Heart Ball raise $1 million!
We are so excited to announce our inaugural winner, Willa Sheridan with US Capital Wealth Advisors. Willa has a personal connection to our mission and has become committed to helping encourage education around prevention so that everyone can fully enjoy their lives and be of service to others.
A big THANK YOU to each of our nominees – Bradley Balandis with GLG, Mark Benning with Central National Bank, Matt Nader with Abbott, James Ray with Munsch Hardt, and Willa Sheridan with US Capital Wealth Advisors!
